CaChET-WAGI Santa Rosa Holds Kick-Off and Re-Orientation for S.Y. 2026-2027

The CaChET-WAGI Santa Rosa officially welcomed the new academic year through its Kick-Off Cum and Re-Orientation Program for School Year 2026–2027, gathering participating schools for an orientation on the organization’s mission, activities, and initiatives anchored on the values of Respect, Regard, and Responsibility, while also providing an avenue for school representatives to raise questions, share insights, and offer suggestions for the improvement of future CaChET-WAGI programs and activities.
The program began at 8:49 a.m. with opening remarks from Dr. Elvira B. Catangay, who also delivered the inspirational message of Sir Hereberto from SPDS. In the message, participants were reminded that beyond orienting students and teachers about upcoming activities, the gathering also aims to strengthen both the minds and hearts of everyone involved in CaChET-WAGI.
The event continued with the keynote address of Dr. Nida C. Tagalag, followed by an energizer facilitated by Ms. Xianne Kisha Hernandez and Ivan Zedric Macagba, which brought energy and interaction among the participants from different schools.
Meanwhile, Dr. Antonio Torralba discussed the program orientation, emphasizing the importance of School Year 2026–2027 and the continued role of CaChET-WAGI in promoting values formation among students.
An overview of the National CaChET Saxum Recognition (NCSR) was also presented by Ms. Marievic Maala, where participants were introduced to the organization’s upcoming activities, recognition programs, and competitions including Quiz Bee, Declamation, Oxford-Oregon Debate, Diorama Making, Chorale Singing, Poster Making, and Choral Recitation.
The activity also opened opportunities for collaboration through an interactive question-and-answer portion facilitated by Ms. Christy Cañaveral, where representatives from participating schools raised questions, shared insights, and offered suggestions for future CaChET-WAGI programs and initiatives.
The gathering concluded with the distribution of food to all participants, ending the orientation on a warm and welcoming note as CaChET-WAGI Santa Rosa officially began another year of service, participation, and values-centered engagement.
